Last night I went to a book signing at Parnassus Books with middle-grade author Jason Reynolds. Coach is his latest book. Coach is the final book in Reynolds’ Track series. I discovered Jason Reynolds through PBS’s Great American Reads. He was honored for Ghost, the first book in the Track series.

Jason Reynolds has written one of my favorite books called Long Way Down. The premise is what if Dickens’ A Christmas Carol was about gun violence. I own a copy of the original book, but bought a signed copy of the graphic novel version.
