This is the premise of the excellent Runaways. It’s about growing up and who to trust, packed with hilarity and a whole lot of action. this Series is a reread for me, I wanted to revisit the series with the Hulu series coming out as well as Cloak and Dagger, since they have an arch in the series.

The Runaway Series on Hulu is way different form the book, with the series focuses equal time between the parents and the kids, the book focuses mainly on the kids.

What I liked about this is the first 18 issues have a middle beginning and an end. The original plan was for this to be a limited series, but popularity has expanded that. The story ends but in a perfect place for new adventures. I plan to read and review more stories of the Runaways.
